· I think the stars surrounding the mountain and the word ‘paramount’ symbolise the fame and the celebrities that are used in their films.

· Also I think that the stars can represent that paramount is an American company.

· The word paramount is right on the top of a big mountain which connotes that it is at the height of its success and it is the best it can be.

· The clouds surrounding the mountain show that paramount is above the clouds so it is sunny, which shows it is always bright.

· The type of font used for ‘Paramount’ connotes that it is a high quality company.

 · I think the man on the moon that is fishing for dreams shows that it’s a fantasy and its all in your imagination.

· The ‘DreamWorks’ stands out because it is white and bold on a dark background.

· I think that it is set up in the clouds because its suggesting that the films are ‘out of this world’ and they are very good quality.

· The idea of it being called ‘DreamWorks’ shows that its almost like a factory and that dreams are being created.

· Also by sitting on the moon and calling it DreamWorks it shows that dreams are made at night when you’re sleeping.

· The idea of it being called ‘Universal’ an having a big colourful earth that is lit up in the middle connotes that this film company brings everyone from around the world together.

· All of the stars around the world represent all of the famous people that they use in their film.

· ‘Universal’ suggests that everyone around the world knows what it is and that they are well known.

· The earth connotes that the films that they produce are out of this world and as well as the gold writing shows that the company has importance and is of very good quality.

· The  spotlights connote all of the famous people they use in their films and they shine up into the sky to show how they are on top and they are the best at what they do.

· Clouds usually connote bad weather and sadness but in this they are being lit up by the spotlights which brightens the whole sky up.

· The big bold gold writing on at the top of lots of stairs is almost like it is higher up than everything else as its in the clouds connotes that the ‘20th Century Fox Television’ is better than everything else and it is the best at what it does.

· The fact that the logo is black and white connotes that it is very classic and original.

· Also the font is in sans serif so it is very clear for the audience to read.

· The pattern of the logo is the same pattern that is on the top of a clapper board which shows the audience that they are very committed to their work.

· The logo for film 4 is very clever as the lines around the word ‘film’ create the number 4.

· The fact that its just plain red is very clever as it stands out and is very easy to remember.

· Film is underlined which makes the word stand out as it is white against a plain red background.

· The font used is very clear as its white and in all capital letters.
